Please read these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") carefully. By downloading, accessing, creating an account, or using Plantera – Plant Doctor ("Plantera", "Application"), you signify your agreement to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.

Mandatory Botanical & Medical Disclaimer

Plantera utilizes algorithmic artificial intelligence to provide informational plant identification and health diagnoses. Never consume wild plants, mushrooms, or berries based on app outputs. Never apply chemical fungicides or home treatments without verifying plant safety. Plantera assumes zero liability for toxicity, allergic reactions, or plant loss.

1. Nature of the Service & AI Limitations

Informational Purpose Only: Diagnosis reports, common names, suggested watering frequencies, and home remedy guidelines are generated for educational and home gardening hobbyist use only. They do not constitute certified horticultural or agricultural consultancy.
Accuracy Disclaimer: Machine vision accuracy depends on photo clarity, lighting, leaf perspective, and species variation. We make no representations or warranties that diagnoses, pathogen classifications, or care plans are error-free or complete.

2. Scan Quota, Credits & Promotional Tiers

Scan Credits: Each plant identification and health check consumes a numerical credit from your available balance. New accounts receive a complimentary starting allocation (e.g., 30 scans) for preview purposes.
Non-Monetary Value: Promotional or complimentary scan credits hold no cash value, are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for currency, and cannot be transferred between accounts.
Future Paid Tiers: Plantera reserves the right to modify credit limits, introduce subscription models (Plantera Pro), or add top-up packs in subsequent updates.

3. Toxicity, Chemical & Safety Warnings

Many common house and garden plants contain calcium oxalate crystals or toxins harmful to human beings, children, dogs, and cats. Always independently verify species toxicity before positioning plants within reach of pets or infants. Furthermore, any suggested household remedies (such as diluted baking soda, neem oil, or horticultural soaps) should be test-sprayed on a single leaf prior to full application. You assume all risk when applying remedies or pruning plants.

4. User Conduct & Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Upload photographs containing illegal content, personally identifiable human faces, or non-botanical material designed to disrupt or spam our inference engine.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, or systematically extract data or backend Edge Functions from Plantera.
Circumvent scan credit limits, session tokens, or API rate limitations through automated scripts or unauthorized client modifications.

5. Intellectual Property & Uploaded Media

You retain ownership of the photos you take and upload. By uploading imagery to Plantera, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, resize, and display the image solely to deliver diagnostic services and improve plant health monitoring algorithms.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Plantera and its developers, affiliates, and suppliers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages—including, without limitation, the death or damage of plants, crop yield failure, personal injury, veterinary costs, or data loss arising from your reliance on the app.

7. Changes to Terms & Contact
